BOTB 11.24.14

By Kate Riley November 24, 2014

I’ve been out of the loop for a few days between traveling to Las Vegas with the family, enjoying the night life, hanging out with cousins, and working on the house here …  forgetting a blog that needs attention. :)

This week, we’re replacing a shower door, building a fireplace mantel, and preparing bedrooms for future guests. All of that comes to a halt come Wednesday evening for more hours with friends and family. I just love Thanksgiving, that opportunity to pause and enjoy a day that’s all about food and family before the rapid pace of the Christmas season. Today it’s a belated version of ‘Best of the Blogosphere’ that’s long overdue. Here are the favorite projects spied across the internet to inspire you!

  1. I am obsessed with your blogs. I look forward to reading your posts every morning. Let us not forget to give thanks to the One who truly gave us life everlasting, Jesus Christ. Have a blessed Thanksgiving day with your loved ones.

  2. Such awesome ideas!
Thank you for featuring my faux birch logs. Depending on where you live – sometimes finding the real birch logs can be hard. These faux ones can be made out of pipe foam insulation as a good alternative to pool noodles.

  3. Missed you, but blogging sometimes need to take a back seat to enjoying family and friends.

Always enjoy the BOTBs. Love Melissa’s pantry project – just sent her a note to tell her it’s become the inspiration for my laundry room wall of open shelving above the washer/dryer/sink.

    Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
