New month, new roundup post! I almost didn’t do one for March since I spent a week away but looking back, there were quite a few good posts during the work weeks, so here y’all go, the top ten not to miss posts from March.
1. I painted a thrift store credenza in gray and gold; 2. Here’s a roundup of fabulous sources for affordable pillows; 3. Spring came indoors in the form of blooming branches; 4. The ideas for renters series continued with solutions for kitchens; 5. This is my travel camera; 6. the proper measurements for chandeliers.
7. My daughter’s room got a fresh look in lavender and blue; 8. We adventured in Oahu; 9. table runners became new spring pillows; and 10. washi tape Easter eggs.
Be back later today with a requested topic: tips on mixing patterns!
.
Loved your projects this month – the credenza turned out really beautiful, even if I’d have been careful about using gold with grey. It totally works, though, so cool! =)
Kate, I don’t post often but want you to know I read everything you write and enjoy your blog so much! Vikki in VA.
Love all you did this month. So glad you were able to take a vacation too! Can’t get enough of that credenza either!
Thanks for the pillow source list. Of course I meandered through your site and found your fabric list, also a great resource! ;)
I’m an interior designer and I have found that the big names, like Kravet and Robert Allen, are negotiating with these online sites and giving them lower pricing than what I get as a designer, because the online sites buy in bulk. Kravet and Robert Allen used to be “to the trade only”, but not anymore. Times are changing! Gotta go with the flow!
I love the layout of your blog Kate! It is really fresh feeling and has a ton of white space.
Having read your post about affordable cushions you have succeeeded in making me feel really guilty that I haven’t changed mine in an absolute age. Whoops!
I am finding myself strangely drawn to the Bellacor ones, because they remind me a bit of going on safari!
Wow your daughter’s room picture looks great! And the colors are fantastic! :)
