Cabinet Transformations Giveaway
July 8, 2011
Thanks so much everyone for your comments on yesterday’s mini kitchen makeover! I hope I answered all of your questions, if not be sure to post them there and I’ll address your inquiries.
Here’s some great news, the kind folks over at Rust-Oleum have now agreed to giveaway three of the Cabinet Transformations kits to you!
Yep, if you’ve been eyeballing it for a cabinet makeover of your own, now’s your chance to win one, a $149 retail value.
Don’t forget, you’re not just restricted to kitchens, you can use the product in bathrooms or on furniture as well. And I’ve just learned this week that Rust-Oleum is hosting a kitchen makeover contest. The America’s Next Top Kitchen Contest is going on now through the end of September and there is $5,000 up for grabs. That gives you time to get going on your own makeover and upload your before and after photos.
Be sure to check out the rules, you can see the gallery of examples here.
Now for the giveaway!
.Eligibility to win one of three Rust-Oleum Cabinet Transformations kits up for grabs:
1) Leave a comment telling where you’d use it. Do your kitchen or bathroom cabinets need refreshing? Perhaps a piece of furniture needs a fresh coat of color? Simply leave a comment where you could use this kit.
2) For additional chances to win, link to this giveaway on Twitter and/or Facebook, then leave an additional comment telling where you mentioned this giveaway (FB and/or Twitter).

My small galley kitchen is so dark — would love to use the same linen color as you did to brighten it up!
Just shared this on my facebook page. My husband and I were super excited to come across this product, over the weekend. Our cabinets are awful and we really can’t afford to replace them. This is a great solution. Also, we are considering the counter top kit, too. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to try and win some!
I need to update my old and really outdated cabinets.
I have a friend whose husband is disabled and unable to work. He is a former teacher and the entire community is working together to help make his house handicap accessible. As construction begins on their house, I think it would be wonderful if we could do some updated renovations. I am not sure which we would use this gift for…the bathroom or the kitchen, but I am certain this would be a terrific way to make their house a little better. (I am currently applying Kona to my kitchen at my own house….love it!). I am posting the link to this page on my facebook page and the Friends of the Bryants facebook page (a community page designated for my friends).

A kitchen makeover similar to yours! I’ve always dreamed of having a white kitchen!
I would use this on my kitchen cabinets. We’ve replaced the countertops and the cabinets now look shabby.

The bathroom!
Kitchen or bathroom…both need it! :)
We’re moving into a tiny rental while we build. It needs some major help! I’d use it in the tiny kitchen and in the one bathroom the four of us will be sharing!
OH MAN. My kitchen cabinets are the single biggest eyesore in my home. They are a horrid bisque off-white that apparently someone found attractive in the 70s (yes that’s how long it’s been since the room was updated). They really need replacing, but unfortunately there’s no way I can afford that any time in the near future. So a paint job would be AMAZING.
I’ve posted this on my facebook! :)
BATHROOM – for sure!
I want to do this so badly to my bathroom cabinets! I’m trying to reduce debt and have been trying to save pennies for this kit. Thanks for the opportunity!!
My kitchen needs it bad!!!
I would use the kit in my kitchen. I’m dying for gray cabinets on the bottom, white on top. Love your blog!
I would love to re-do my bathroom cabinets. Assuming that goes well, I would move onto the lovely builder grade oak cabinets in my kitchen!
We’re in the process of putting in an offer on a new house!!! My only hang-up? The horrible kitchen and the cost it would take to replace cabinets. This sounds like an awesome solution!
I have been dying to paint my master bathroom cabinets black, but my hubby won’t let me!! If I had this kit, I might be able to finally convince him!! :o)
I have sad “Oak” cabinets from the 1980s that need a facelift!
My bathroom vanities are all painted, but are in dire need of a fresh coat of paint!
I have 1970′s kitchen and bath cabinets. Although I have tried to keep the house up-to-date with new granite countertops, the cabinets still look old. They need a facelift!!!! This product would be great!!!!!
I’d use it on a piece of furniture from my grandma
Moved in this house last October and my cabinets are screaming, “Do the Rustoleum Cabinet Transformation”. I want to go from a drab, dreary oak finish to a white. Crossing my fingers.
I have done the traditional process of sanding, priming, painting and sealing my kitchen and bathroom cabinets and it is tedious work. I have been putting off doing my upstairs bathroom and hall linen closets for a llloonnngg time because it is so much work. This kit is just what I have been looking for! I was going to purchase it this weekend, but I am holding out hope that I win it. Thanks for being such an inspiration!
It’s so funny–just this week I put that EXACT product on my Amazon Wish list! I’m planning to use the Cabinet Transformations on our manufactured home’s awful veneer-and-particle-board cabinets that are over 30 years old. The house isn’t worth enough to do a full-on remodel, and the cabinets are surprisingly functional but hideous. It would be AWESOME to win one of these and to have a little more $$ for other renovations!! :)
I’ve wanted to give Rustoleum Cabinet Transformations a try in my 70s kitchen. I think refreshing the stain and adding new hardware will really help update the space. (BTW, thanks for your blog! I love all your tips and ideas.)
Definitely the kitchen… maybe there would even be enough left over for the guest bathroom?! I’m totally digging the linen!!
Our kitchen — the cabinets are so old and so in need of a makeover!! I wish we could afford to do the whole kitchen over, but we would have to take out walls and move doors, too much for our budget anytime soon!
I would love to use this on my parents’ kitchen cabinets! They would look fabulous with a paint makeover!
The kitchen. Or the bathroom. So many cabinets, all of them terrible. What a great budget-firendly way to change a room!
I think my kitchen counter space is so small I could do my kitchen and have enough left over for the bathroom!
I would use it in my bathroom
The bathrooms – both have builder grade cabinets from the 80s. Both are ugly. But I think both have the possibility to be much prettier…
