So Pretty

August 3, 2010

Recently, I’ve stumbled across two sites that I love.  The first is NonPareil Magazine which features beautiful food and table styling, plus inspiration for brides, including DIY wedding projects and downloadable templates.

Nonpareil Magazine has only published a few online issues, but they are full of loveliness.

The next site I’ve been introduced to is Paperless Post, combining the convenience of online invitations with the elegance of printed stationery.  When it comes to sending invitations to life’s major events, such as weddings, birth announcements, or milestone anniversary parties, I prefer the formality of a printed card or invitation in the mail.  And to me, nothing replaces a handwritten thank you note.

But for other events, such as ‘Save the Date’ notices, ‘We’ve Moved’ announcements, cocktail parties, or other less formal occasions, there is the sophisticated Paperless Post.  You select the card and design it with your choice of font, and even upgrade with ‘envelope liners’.

Now here’s my invitation to you !

I have not been compensated by either of these sites, I just love sharing favorite sources of loveliness.  Have you discovered any new ones lately ?

OH those are GORGEOUS!!! I will definitely check them out! THANKS for the heads up!

  2. I recently discovered catalogliving.tumblr.com -a hilarious site about the people who live in our catalogs. I also check Chez Larsson (www.chezlarsson.com) every morning as soon as I turn on the computer. It’s full of practical organizational and home decor/improvement information.

How nice to see an online invitation service where style and design are top priority. Some of the other sites like Evite are a little basic…
I’m with Nadia – adore the Catalog Living spoofs!

  4. Hi Kate-

I love Paperless Post, but have never been to NonPareil. I will have to check it out. Even though I have no weddings to plan I find wedding blogs very inspiring.
Thanks for telling us about the sites.
    My best- Diane

  7. Wow I was just checking out NonPeril and my oh my they put out some beautiful pages in their magazine. I am going to be a reader for sure! It seems more and more lately that if someone is posting about a product or new site, they are getting paid for doing so. It was so refreshing to see someone sharing their loveliness just to share.

Wow, every picture in this post is gorgeous. Is that a pennant made out of pages from old books? Clever. :)

  14. Brenda Moore says:

I honestly think the pink place setting would be cool done as a “tea party” fabric, as well as those lovely looking chocolate cookies – yum!
    Loverlie.

  16. Jessica says:

I love lined envelopes – they add another level to the sophistication of the invitation. Who doesn’t love getting something fabulous in the mail. I especially love the patterns in those samples above.
