Weekend Reading

Friday, May 15th, 2015

Hello and happy weekend! Summer is quickly approaching and the kids have only 3 weeks of school remaining. I spent yesterday drafting a makeshift yet flexible calendar for June through August and this year I allotted plenty of down time. I find as the years go by and the children grow almost as tall as me that I want very much to slow down. Slow it all down, the days, weeks, and months, before everything changes and they’re no longer under my roof.

I’m off to Las Vegas again for just a few days to oversee the kitchen and master bathroom countertop installation, in addition to a few other projects from plumbing to painting in the house we’re remodeling there. I’ll have a new update soon. Meanwhile here are the favorite links from the week…

Weekend Reading

Friday, May 1st, 2015

I’ve got my hands full this weekend and next week since my 2 year old nephew Ronan is staying in our home while my brother works during the day. His mom is traveling with her sisters to visit Switzerland for 10 days, such a dream destination, have you been? It’s one of my top five favorite countries I’ve visited. I’m excited to have little feet in the house again but I’ll be busy keeping him entertained, two year olds are so curious and have so much energy, wish me luck!
