New month, new roundup post! I almost didn’t do one for March since I spent a week away but looking back, there were quite a few good posts during the work weeks, so here y’all go, the top ten not to miss posts from March.

Best of January

It’s always fun to take a look back at what occurred over a month’s time even if it blows right past you, which it did for me. Do you also let out a great big sigh when you turn the calendar to a new month?   It just passes by so fast…

Last year,  I rounded up a collection of favorite posts at the end of every month, so I’ll continue the tradition this year.  Here are the top ten not-to-miss posts from January.

We built some new bookcases for my office with IKEA pieces; my new 35mm 2.0 lens came with me on hike through Yosemite; I shared some thoughts on thrifting (what I look for and what I reject) and also some solutions for renters in the bedroom (tips for adding color, pattern, & personality).

Our French doors were painted with a shade of teal blue; here are several stylish ways to display black + white photographs; I stitched up a rainy day play tablecloth tent for the little ones; this interview with a magazine field scout and stylist gives a peek into the industry; my favorite berry superfood smoothie is now a regular breakfast food; and several bloggers shared their favorite organizational tricks

We finally finished the backsplash in our ongoing hall bathroom remodel over the weekend, I’ll snap some pics and share that on Monday!
