I’m excited to spend some time over the next two weeks sprucing up our home for fall since the Fall Link Parties start next week!  I’ll be using a lot of what I’ve got, but I have my eye on a few new things for cozying up the casa. I love the yummy colors of autumn: pumpkin, cognac, olive, fig, aubergine, and amber.   Fall is not only about color but texture too, think warm metallics, wood finishes, and cozy throws for chilly nights by the fire. 

For fun, I did a little virtual shopping, and picked out a collection of fall favorites for the home and tabletop.

I discovered a miracle in a Nashville hotel, the most genius invention for any gal’s feet, I had to share.  I’ve been carrying these around in my purse for weeks now.  J’adore does not begin to describe.  Have you spied these?  Foldable ballet flats that fit in a pouch. 

I’m a shorty, so I’m always putting on heels when I travel or go out and about.  These little flats have saved my feet time and again, like on airplanes or at last night’s school auction.  You can pick them up for $15 in different colors here.  I’ve even started wearing them around the house instead of my typical bare feet, and to hide my chipping toenail polish.  Stylish.  Metallic.  Genius! 

I don’t know why I’ve never made or purchased a camera strap cover before, but this just arrived in my mailbox and I am in love !

Greetings!  Oh what a week, are you caught up in the pre-Thanksgiving scramble?  Juggle juggle, balance, multitask, and a little more juggling, right?  Whew!  I’m looking forward to next week’s down time, just to sit around with family and friends, bake pies, peel potatoes, sample wines, and eat eat eat.  And maybe do some more eating.
