Hello hello, it’s ‘Best of the Blogosphere’ day, yay!  I love to share my favorite projects and posts spied around the web every two weeks and Amanda always helps out with a few of her picks too, here’s our roundup, enjoy! 

It’s another fantastic stenciled rug project – check out Sarah’s Moroccan style painted rug in fresh blue and white featured on The 36th Avenue, see the full tutorial on Sarah’s blog.

Summer brings out the lemonades stands, this chalkboard and white stand is simple and stunning, made by Jennifer of Dear Lillie.  (Psst, she also turned it into this too.)

These twin chairs received a full makeover with paint, including the painted seat cushions (yep!) over at Mia and Jilly.

Hey all, how’s your weekend treating you?  We’re busy busy with the Alma project kitchen remodel and the demo is done, now we’re getting ready to piece the new kitchen together.  There’s a lot of work ahead, cabinets and countertops and tile, oh my…   We have most of it under control and I should have a new kitchen to show you by mid-June, we’re all so excited!

Today is ‘best of the blogosphere’ day and Amanda and I team up every two weeks to bring you our favorite projects, ideas, and posts we spy out there in blogland.  Here’s the list, enjoy.

This is the most simple yet genius idea – spray painted mason jar lids transform this ordinary Target dresser and give it a mid-century modern inspired look, via Apartment Therapy. 

Painted flags make statement headboards and Carmel at Our Fifth House proves it with this Union Jack pegboard headboard in her son’s room.

Linda used foam board for this stenciled china cabinet project from Burlap and Blue. We’re loving the fresh green green geometric pattern she chose to upgrade the back of her cabinet – lovely!

Glam up your pendant shades like this silver leaf lined interior to add a sophisticated glow to your drum chandelier, via Design*Sponge.

Speaking of kitchens, if organization is on your to-do list, Lindsay from Living with Lindsay shows you how to build your own pull-out trash and recycling bin.

There are a lot of painted rug tutorials out there, but this painted graphic patterned rug by the almost 40 year old intern is particularly beautiful, check out the intricacy of the detail and all achieved with paint, fabric medium, and painter’s tape! (via Design*Sponge).
