Weekend Reading

Happy weekend everyone! We’ve invited guests over on Sunday for a barbeque, we like to entertain more during the summer especially on Sunday afternoons when the weather is so nice and the weekend is winding down. I’m headed to the nursery to grab some plants to fill in some bare spots in the yard, I’ll be doing some front porch sprucing and gardening and speaking of isn’t this potting room porch dreamy?

Hello and happy weekend! Summer is quickly approaching and the kids have only 3 weeks of school remaining. I spent yesterday drafting a makeshift yet flexible calendar for June through August and this year I allotted plenty of down time. I find as the years go by and the children grow almost as tall as me that I want very much to slow down. Slow it all down, the days, weeks, and months, before everything changes and they’re no longer under my roof.

I’m off to Las Vegas again for just a few days to oversee the kitchen and master bathroom countertop installation, in addition to a few other projects from plumbing to painting in the house we’re remodeling there. I’ll have a new update soon. Meanwhile here are the favorite links from the week…
