Friday Finds

Friday, November 16th, 2012

Hello everyone and welcome to the weekend!  Drizzle and rain are in the forecast for the next few days here in the Bay Area so we’ll be doing some indoor sprucing, making homemade soup, getting cozy by the fire, those kinds of things.  Here’s the list of Friday finds for the week!

There’s an interesting and detailed discussion about the interiors featured in some of the November shelter mags over at La Dolce Vita.  BTW, I absolutely love  this room by Nate Berkus.

I’ve read Smitten Kitchen for years and blogger Deb has a new cookbook which is on my Christmas list – all of the shots for the book and Deb’s blog came from this small kitchen!  Here’s the tour.

Thanksgiving is all about family and friends together and I adore this shot by Iowa Girl Eats, those grandma hands holding this sweet baby?  Picture = 1,000 words.

The recycled and mundane reinvented as porcelain cans and crinkle vases.  Impressive!

Hey all, it’s a late delivery of some Friday finds I spied around the web this week!  We’re off on a three day getaway so I’ve been rushing around trying to get everything ready, but had to share these with you!

Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan have very pretty home in Manhattan that was featured at Architectural Digest.
