Hello and happy weekend all. If off to NYC today and I can’t thank you enough for sharing your insider tips and suggestions on what to see and where to eat – the forecast is rain but we won’t let that stop us from having some very fun adventures. Today is another edition of ‘Best of the Blogosphere’ and Amanda and I rounded up some favorites projects and ideas, enjoy!

The $20 IKEA sawhorse table legs were used to create two desks in this week’s features, the first is a glam version in gold leaf spied over at IKEA Hackers.

Hello all, it’s another fine summer weekend! We’re excited to attend a farm to table dinner tomorrow at a friend’s ranch, party of ten, as a way to say farewell to summer since the kids are back to school next week. Also I’m working on a painting project I’ve been putting off for ages, so there’s a full weekend of activity ahead.
