BOTB 7.3.15

Holiday weekend hellos! What a busy week it’s been for us, home improvement from sunup to sundown and I.AM.BEAT. There is caulking and paint all over me but with it comes the satisfaction of many completed projects.

So far we’ve installed nine light fixtures, three window treatments, painted two bathrooms, and brought in help to install a range hood and appliances. Finally my two tile backsplashes are complete and I’ve also reupholstered four thrift store chairs, but wow am I exhausted from all activity during these project filled days in the desert. Bring on the holiday weekend I say. I’ve taken a lot of pictures of the upgraded spaces and I’ll share in the upcoming weeks. This weekend we’re entertaining family then headed home back to California for a quieter July, which I welcome.

Here’s a quick roundup of some favorite spaces and projects spied around the web in the continuing Best of the Blogosphere series. I so want to come over and enjoy Erin’s colorful and cozy deck makeover at House of Turquoise.
