Weekend Reading

By Kate Riley May 15, 2015

Hello and happy weekend! Summer is quickly approaching and the kids have only 3 weeks of school remaining. I spent yesterday drafting a makeshift yet flexible calendar for June through August and this year I allotted plenty of down time. I find as the years go by and the children grow almost as tall as me that I want very much to slow down. Slow it all down, the days, weeks, and months, before everything changes and they’re no longer under my roof.

I’m off to Las Vegas again for just a few days to oversee the kitchen and master bathroom countertop installation, in addition to a few other projects from plumbing to painting in the house we’re remodeling there. I’ll have a new update soon. Meanwhile here are the favorite links from the week…

    • Hi Marian, that’s a glitch that happens sometimes don’t know why – try CTL + F5 to refresh, that usually stops it :)

  1. I love your weekend reading lists, it’s one of the first emails I click on in the morning with my cup of coffee and peruse the posts you share. Happy weekend in Vegas, Kate!
