Weekend greetings! It’s the start of Spring Break for me so I’m headed to Las Vegas for a few days of play time and to work on little projects around the fixer house too. Today it’s a round of featured spaces and projects spied around the web in the regular Best of the Blogosphere series, enjoy!
Don’t miss Nicole Gibbon’s beautiful Brooklyn brownstone makeover. (Full house tour at Lonny.)
This whimsical wonderful boy’s nursery tour at Honey & Fitz.
Megan’s closet is so chic!
I spy with my little eye a clever hidden litter box at House Tweaking.
Oh cuteness. Make wallpaper animals (dino, whale, fox, etc.) with templates found at This Little Street. (Links to girlish versions too.)
Turn a cutting board into a work of art with Gilly at Colour Saturated Life.
Make world map wall art with a supply list and tutorial at Tried and True.
Hack an IKEA lamp into a swiveling iPad stand with a step by step at Sugru.
Embellish a plain tote for spring with a painted + embroidered argyle pattern, tutorial by Amy at Atta Girl Says.
Easter is fast approaching! Make Japanese ribbon eggs with Kathy at Up To Date Interiors.
And I’ll be making these M&M Easter Egg cookies, recipe at Design Eat Repeat.
Have a fab weekend everyone!
…
Love the nursery with the ceiling pattern and love the curtains! Awesome room!
That IKEA lamp/iPad hack is so clever! I love a good IKEA hack!
Thanks for featuring my chopping board art, so exciting to be part of BOTB!!!
Am absolutely in love with the IKEA white background desk arrangement. Thanks for sharing! These are inspirational!
I really liked the Ikea kitty little door hack that Dana at House Tweaking did UNTIL she mentioned that she sometimes locks her cat up in that cabinet (!!!)
Thanks for sharing my Japanese Easter eggs!! I’m so excited. :)
Em, you did not read what House*tweaking said very well, she said “in case we need to lock Cheeta up, she has access to the littler box” an animal crate is smaller than this space would be, and it would not have space for a littler box.
Kate, I am in love with that haute brownstone makeover. That sofa is right up my ally.
Beautiful choices and I’m wishing you a great Spring Break!
Hope you have a great time! I love the little boy’s nursery. That ceiling is so creative and whimsical.
