Welcome to the weekend! Today and tomorrow I’m headed to several tile shops with three projects on the horizon (a fireplace, a master bathroom, a kitchen…) and it’s time to narrow down some choices. This weekend features some favorite projects and spaces in the continuing ‘Best of the Blogosphere’ series, enjoy!

  1. Yeah for the compost bin and diy appliance garage. the rest is great eye-candy, as well!

  2. Beautiful kitchen renovation! So nice light, bright and airy. We’re running to tile shops all week and hoping to make our decision today. We’re doing 2 bathrooms. So fun! Have a great weekend Kate.

  3. Love that dining room, top and bottom and everything in between. Couldn’t do the ceiling but the floor look and color is achievable and will happen for me, with very much thanks to your Nevada home wood-look tile floors inspiration and Maria Killam’s stamp of approval on a different solution for those of us who can’t do classic medium brown hardwood floors for whatever reason (“freedom” is a great word). I love BOTB – I find inspiration in every picture even though the item featured might not be anything I need.
