This week is my official summer break due to the travel adventure ahead. Also it’s Independence Day week/weekend so we plan to spend it together as a family relaxing poolside and sharing great barbeque. Before I check out for the remainder of the week I wanted to feature the highlights from the blog from the past two months:
My Summer Fabric Collection is available: bright colors, island inspired! Tour a beautiful Hawaiian beach cottage and read up on our favorite stops to play and eat in Kauai. I love the conversation in the comments on window treatments for sliding doors.
Build a modern pet bed for your pooch! Or mimic the look of bone inlay with paint. These are my favorite 50+ Etsy shops. I’m crushing on remodeled Airstreams, must have one someday! Bloggers share their favorite staycation spot. My best articles at Better Homes & Gardens in one collection here.
The ScotchBlue™ Painter’s Tape + Home Depot “Get it Got It Go!” Blog Hop is happening this summer and many bloggers have featured inspiring DIY projects using ScotchBlue™ Painter’s Tape and supplies from the Home Depot. This week there is a $250 Home Depot Gift Card up for grabs! Who wants it?
To be eligible to win the $250 Home Depot gift card, visit the Blog Hop feature page, pick a project there that inspires you, then leave a comment on the Blog Hop Feature page (not this post, please leave your entry comment at the Featured Blog Hop Projects page).
One winner chosen at random, giveaway ends Saturday July 5, 2014 at midnight PST. By entering this giveaway you agree to this site’s giveaway policy and Official Rules of Entry.

Love the fresh bright colors great for the hot summer we have in Israel
I like the diamond rug and the framed frameless art :) Especially the rug, I’m looking for something to put on the patio that is just boring old cement and that seems like a fun idea.
The links are taking me to some good ad services. Is this correct?
That is the strangest glitch Leslie, sorry – if you refresh the page it goes away :)
I couldn’t open the Board & Batten Walls. I would like to do that in my bathroom……
What great ideas. I am going to try a couple of them. First the pots
