Weekend hellos! I’ve been busy in a good way, spring cleaning and purging this week, getting rid of the things that aren’t beautiful or useful and hauling them off in bags and boxes to the Goodwill. I envision a home where every room has less stuff and surfaces that are clear; it’s a challenging task in a busy household, but little by little, I’ve found this week that purging of the clutter clears the mind. Today is ‘Best of the Blogosphere’ day again, and Amanda and I narrowed down our favorites, enjoy these inspiring spaces and projects!
There’s a beautiful new dining room over at Make Them Wonder, that dark moody wall is Ben Moore’s Narragansett Green and we’re also loving the live edge wood tabletop!
A plank wall and bracketed wood shelf are the simple DIY touches that transformed Jenna Sue’s foyer to create a stylish and functional entry.
A small kitchen gets a brand new look with subway tile, butcher block countertops, two color cabinetry, and a fab gold sconce at Home Style Report.
Unify your gallery wall with fabric covered mats, the simple tutorial to get the look can be found at Design*Sponge.
Sarah Dorsey got creative with a stump and made this chiseled wood accent table, get the full how to in a guest post over at East Coast Creative.
Inspired by a bowl, Roeshel from DIY Showoff gave a plain thrift store mirror a modern look with a partially painted frame, an easy project with big impact!
Combine your patriotism with simple stitching to create an embroidered USA pillow like Nancy at Do Small Things With Love.
Check out Best of DIY for even more features from the past two weeks!
Have a great weekend!
