Weekend Reading

By Kate Riley December 13, 2013

Are you feeling it? That “only 12 days until Christmas” rush? We still have cookies to bake and party preparations to make but most of the gifts are done, which is a relief. I love the high/low comparisons by Style at Home and this Christmas kitchen counter is so fun and festive! Turquoise wall + white platters & cake stands = love.

  1. KATE! Oh, my word–you must be so excited to have been featured on Oprah! Good for you–and of all bloggers, you certainly deserve it! :)

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  2. I know it’s probably me, but I found the bow tutorial confusing. Ah well. Many congrats on the mention on Oprah! How exciting!

  3. I get a Meijer ad when I click the link for the Oprah feature!?!!!!?!? what am I doing wrong?

  4. I love that kitchen counter! The colors are so cheerful. I have a friend who would die for it. Congrats on being featured on Oprah. What an accomplishment. I bet your family is really proud. Well, off to read your links!

  5. Love love the colors in the photos. The kitchen is so delightful. Thanks for all the links. Looking forward to checking them out. Congratulations on Oprah!

  6. Just an FYI – every linked I clicked on took me to an ad on a random site. Not even sites for ads that are in your sidebar. I had to click on the title of your post to get the links to work correctly. Very weird.

    Congrats on the Oprah feature!

  7. A feature in Oprah Magazine is super, but of course why not, everything you do is super!

  8. Ok this is the 7th wonder of the world to me- how are those
White platters stuck to the wall without visual means of support?

I would like to do this at my house but all I can find are those
Wierd accordion hangers that compress round the plate
    and they look terrible.

I’ve looked on web many times and never a step by step
    explaination of the magic!

    How? How does this work??

    Thanks! K
