Weekend Reading

July 12, 2013

Hi all, what’s up for the weekend? I’m finishing up a final coat of paint on a dresser today and then hoping to take a trip to the coast to feel the sand between my toes tomorrow.

How perfect is this dining nook?  So sunny, so cheerful, and family friendly, I adore the painted chairs and happy mix of patterns on the window seat. I spied it over at The Design Files this week and fell in love with the whole house tour.

Kate, I have followed your blog for several years. I believe you were at the Alameda Flea Market at the same I was when Eddie Ross was having one of his “tours”.

Love your answers. What fun. My granddaughter’s name is Amelie. I haven’t run across anyone else with that name (other than the French movie).

Very smart and clever idea. The colored chairs make such a difference to the feel of the room. It looks expensive and arty.
