The Latest & A Change

July 3, 2013

Greetings all, I don’t know about you but this holiday in the middle of a week thing is throwing me off! I decided to go with the flow and take the next two days to vacay and enjoy the food and festivities, but first here is the latest content at BH&G. Click on the buttons to read the articles!

Also announcing a change happening. The BH&G Centsational Style blog will be retired (not Centsational Girl!) and instead I’ll be posting once a week on the BH&G Style Spotters blog starting in August. All of the content I wrote for BH&G will be archived, it won’t disappear! But I welcome the change and I’m truly excited to join the contributors over at Style Spotters.

I’ll still be sharing the same design related content as I have for the past year and I’ll be sure to update you when new articles post. Or simply subscribe to Style Spotters to get all the latest articles from the group of talented contributors!

Wishing you all a fabulous Fourth of July! Have a fantastic holiday everyone, enjoy the fun, friends, family, food and fireworks!

love me some bright and bold accents!

  3. Susan says:

Whoa…had to reread that, at first I thought you meant THIS blog, CG, would be retired. *Shakes head to clear out the cobwebs*

  4. Karen says:

Oh no… I love Centsational Girl! It’s my favorite decor blog.

I wish you well in your new endeavor, but I will surely miss checking in everyday to see your latest project.

    Good luck!

  5. Karen says:

Wow…. just reread. My panic can subside. LOL

So glad you aren’t going anywhere!

  6. Ms. Lizzy says:

Um…Susan please re-read her post!! Kate there may be an uprising!
If you’re happy I’m happy for you ;) …but I will definitely miss this blog! Looking forward to keeping up on Style Spotters! Good Luck!

  7. Ms. Lizzy says:

    Alrighty then….I stand corrected Susan! I didn’t even know about Centsational STYLE! I just re-read. Whew….. ;)

  8. CentsationalGirl says:

Aw thanks everyone, this blog is staying put, no way I’d quit! I clarified the text, it’s only the Centsational STYLE blog for BH&G that’s going away, but I’m continuing the same kinds of posts on their other decorating blog with contributors (Style Spotters). Same great inspiration, just less frequent posting. And again, Centsational GIRL is NOT going away!
    xoxo everyone

How exciting! I’m looking forward to reading your new posts on Style Spotters.
Glad to hear you aren’t leaving here though! I just found you – wouldn’t it be a shame for you to leave? :)

  10. Will definitely check out the posts there too. From the looks of the other comments, I think you sent some of your readers into panic-mode! Nice to be appreciated isn’t it?! I hope you have a wonderful (and restful!) 4th of July!

  11. I want to subscribe to the Style Spotters but your link didn’t work.Do you have a different one? Thanks so much!

  12. Maria G. says:

I think the “festive fourth” would be helpful for me especially considering the Fourth of July. I am planning on doing some decorating for our Fourth of July celebration and I want the same blue bottles in this post. Got any idea where to get those? They are perfect for what I am planning.

  13. Just came across your blog and just love it! Fabulous!!

  14. CentsationalGirl says:

Hi Maria, some beverage companies actually use cobalt blue bottles as their packaging so if you do a little online research you may be able to track them down. Also check Etsy and thrift stores!

  15. Hi Kate,

Happy 4th of July! I love the links in this post. BTW, It’s great that your articles will be archived. :-)

  16. I follow along where ever you are , bhg blog or bhg style spotter :)
