Weekend Reading

By Kate Riley June 14, 2013

Happy Friday friends! Yesterday we headed to the local farmer’s market and I bought several bunches of mixed berries and spent the afternoon making preserves – it’s an annual summer ritual that yields jam so good that my family sneaks spoonfuls out of the jars – will post the recipe next week.

  1. Yum. Can’t wait for the recipe. We have been making trips to the Farmer’s Market on Sunday afternoon. Loving all the fresh fruits and veggies. Enjoy your weekend.

  2. The fruit looks amazing. Love our farmer’s market. Happy weekend to you and your family.

  3. Check with your local library–last year my husband had our college “mix tapes” converted to CDs. It was a charming gift! He borrowed a player from the library and jotted down all the songs and then recreated them through iTunes.

  4. Hi Kate,

Wanted to thank you for the link to The Orange Rhino the other day. What an amazing resource!
I forwarded it along to my readers in my post yesterday (link below) and have gotten a bunch of great responses from people.
Love your blog! Have a great weekend!
