DIY Gifts for Mother’s Day
April 16, 2013
I miss my mom a lot, she lives on the outskirts of Las Vegas and I don’t get to see my parents as often as I’d like. I like to create something special for Mother’s Day, even if it’s just a semi DIY craft or project. (Last year I made these photo filled memory jars). I went looking for inspiration and rounded up a bunch of great ideas. Enjoy!
Make homemade linen spray, with printable lavender, garden rose, and jasmine labels.
Upload Instagram images and make a book for a special Mom to treasure.
Pair a fresh bouquet with a flower arranging kit.
Use these charming chalkboard style printables for gifting a book or mounting on wood (via Shanty 2 Chic).
Gather kids sentiments on paper and place the messages in a bottle.
Make a keepsake photo tote bag for her to remember a favorite day.
Print a favorite family recipe on fabric to make a recipe tea towel.
Craft Polaroid inspired coasters to keep memories close by when she reads or watches TV.
Create a terrarium that will last many month on a tabletop or in a garden window.
