Hey everyone, happy weekend! It was a bit slower on the blog this week but in the time away from the computer I was able to get a lot done behind the scenes – my youngest daughter’s room is nearing completion and the design studio is in progress, I’ll be sharing pictures from both spaces next week.
Meanwhile, here’s the latest over at the BH&G blog:
And a few other links that caught my eye:
25 ways to decorate a console table
A paneled wall room makeover (the awesome power of white paint)
In her own words, how Martha made homemaking an art form
A realistic house tour of people who live with toddlers
10 Commandments of used furniture
Absolutely beautiful imagery from the Smithsonian photo contest
Great advice from a father to his children
I also wrote up an article for the My Colortopia blog on all the ways I decorate with apothecary jars. The ‘Best of the Blogosphere’ returns on Sunday, I’ll be back with a roundup of inspiring DIY projects spied around the web.
Have a great weekend!

So many great reads!
Its funny you mention your daughter’s room because I’ve been wondering about it since you mentioned you were on the market for bunk beds. Can’t wait to see how it all turned out!
Thanks, Kate! This will be great reading for a snowy weekend (another one!) here in Boston!

Can’t wait to read the Martha piece. Later for that need to make lunches!
Happy Friday!

p.s. Kate, I just did my first DIY post… maybe you’d consider checking it out for your Sunday post? http://www.mysoulfulhome.com post entitled “Hanging by a Thread”. Super easy & useful project!
