On our visit, we had reservations at the southern entrance, but stopped at the Ahwahnee before check in, just for a drink and a look around. I casually said to an employee … “You’re all booked, right?” No, he said, and volunteered to switch us to the Ahwahnee, same price. Yosemite was the high point of our cross-country car trip. An inspiring, life-affirming place. Thanks for the great shots!
