Pine Cone Hill Giveaway

By Kate Riley January 3, 2013

I remember when I first spied Pine Cone Hill linens in a local shop in town years ago and instantly fell in love with the brand’s fresh and vibrant patterns.  Pine Cone Hill is a sister company to Dash & Albert rugs (another favorite!), both run by visionary Annie Selke and filled with her beautiful designs for home, which include table linens, bedding, sleepwear, and other decorative accessories.

Pine Cone Hill offers fresh and fabulous textiles for any home and the quality is supurb!  I have a few of Annie’s pillows, blankets, and rugs scattered around my home and they’re favorites of mine.  Always chic, the collections include linens with a colorful vintage vibe and also subdued hues in calming neutrals as well.

A cute and quirky little book called Fresh American Spaces. I told myself, as I was flipping through it and the other books, “Remember this book and her websites! This is good stuff!”
Fast forward about seven hours. I hopped onto my email and found the Centsational Girl message about organizing. Deciding that it was high time I checked out some other Centsational fun, I popped out to the website. And, oh my goodness, was that ever a familiar name and photo at the very top of the page. Poppies have long been used as a symbol of sleep, peace, and death: sleep because of the opium extracted from them, and death because of the common blood-red color of the red poppy in particular.
