what a great day…and fun post to read! We have that ‘YES’ book, where the whole day is yes day. My kids fantasize about it…but it makes me nervous. I like the boundaries you set…maybe I’ll have to give it a whirl! Safe travels home!

I have had a mad busy summer that included being evacuated from a wildfire so I have missed MANY of your wonderful posts…trying to catch up now! Have to say that your boss for a day was priceless! What a fabulous gift to your kids (and you)! I am sure that all of you will never forget it. If my girls were younger, they are 21, 25, and 28, I would adopt your idea! Enjoy your kids they grow up WAY too fast!!!!

I wish I would have thought of this myself. My kids are older (9th and 7th grades) and have already started school but would have loved to boss Mom around for a day. Definitely will save for next summer…and yes, a stop at Powells (we live in Burlingame) will certainly make the list! Thanks for the idea.
