Greetings all and happy Sunday, it’s time for another round of ‘Best of the Blogosphere’ and Amanda and I are back to share the most inspiring, creative, and helpful ideas we’ve spotted in the last two weeks, enjoy!
Everything about Ford’s Nursery is perfection from the soft sophisticated neutrals to the brass pendant, tour the beautiful space over at Me Oh My.
Stacy at Not Just a Housewife created her own secret garden complete with lush plantings, plenty of white, and a focal point mirror, so serene!
Follow Traci’s step by step to refinish a claw foot tub for a beautiful result at Beneath My Heart.
A tired old piece gets a new look as a dark stained secretary by Cuckoo for Design, we’re loving that striped wallpapered interior too!
Build your own elevated box planters just like the Accent Piece – impressive that they did it with scrap wood from a doghouse!
We love the versatility of pallets, here’s a charming use – shark pallet art! Get the full how to over at Sand and Sisal.
This stylish white wall hutch from thistlewood farm was a bookcase in a former life. KariAnne flipped it upside down and added crown molding to become a custom display piece.
These wood and canvas crates by Alicia at Thrifty and Chic are a fabulous Pottery Barn knockoff, what a beautiful storage solution for any console table!
Well this is clever. Turn a plain barstool upside down, give it a coat of paint, stitch up some pockets and voila! A wrapping paper storage station by Two Little Hooligans.
Oh how we love those miniature play sets for keeping wee ones busy. Check out this handmade little kid barbeque by Kate’s Creative Space.
We’ve all seen the cheap metal containers at the office supply store. Transform them into a unique creation with spray paint and yarn to create a cross stitch pencil cup everyone will be asking about. Via Camille Styles.
Great love stories… they’re the best! Spence and Kate are Number 15 in a great series, read them all at This is Glamorous.
I also enjoyed Ten Little Things That Will Make You Happier at Home at Apartment Therapy. Thanks Amanda as always for helping me scout some of these picks, you can catch up with Amanda at her blog Serenity Now. Hope you all are enjoying your day! We’ve had quite a productive weekend, I have a great DIY project to share tomorrow, hint hint, it’s something on my list.
Yay!

Thanks for featuring my Shark Pallet Art Kate & Amanda! (I’m on vacation and just now saw this!) I appreciate it ladies!
I am *so* in love with that secret garden!
Just when I think I’ve seen it all – I am blown away once again by the creativity out there! These are some fantastic features! Kari from Thistlewood Farms is one of my all time favorite people ever – so glad to see her awesomeness featured here!
Another great post Kate. I especially loved the mirror in the garden and that bar stool turned storage was absolutely brilliant.
I love BOTB! I work part time around my husband’s work schedule which means a lot of weekends and this is what I look forward to at the end of it all. I miss Abbi’s weekend though, will she ever come back?
I love these roundups! And I am so honored to be a part of this one. :)
Thank you for featuring my tub. It’s makes my husband’s hard work worth it!
Blessings,
Traci
