Well today is the day – school is officially out for summer and it’s filled with teacher goodbyes and a last day of school picnic. Now begins twelve weeks of kids at home, which is always a transition but I seem to manage by spending less time in front of the computer and more time outdoors. I’m looking forward to all the fair weather and summer fun! I’ve got a few DIY projects in the works too, can’t wait to finish them up and show you!

That’s a long 12 weeks!!! To be honest I dread summer despite not having to rush to school there’s something about the ‘unstructured’ days that just make my kids crazy. Sleepaway camp is looking really good!
Your kids get out a little earlier then ours. Enjoy the summer with them, I can’t wait…

I have a love/hate relationship with summer break. I love having the kiddos around more. However, I hate the havoc the schedule shift wreaks on my old lady bod! Oh, well, I’m sure I’ll get adjusted to the change just as school starts again. ;)

We homeschool all year..but the kids take a week off for summer camp. Enjoy your time with the kids.
ooo–can’t wait to read about your app picks. It was the last day of kindergarten here…Natalie’s excited about not having to leave the house early, but worried we won’t have enough to do. :s I get to go to tea tomorrow afternoon with some girlfriends in the “Olde Towne” area of where we live…lots of neat shops and antique stores!
