By Kate Riley March 1, 2012

Hello all and happy first day of March!  Yep, spring is on its way and I cannot wait, can you?  To celebrate, my blog buddies Layla, Rhoda, Sarah and I are all throwing a round of Spring Fling Link Parties just in time to get creative for the coming season.

For those of you who have joined up with us before, we hope you’ll do so again, these are a lot of fun and a great place to share your projects and ideas. We encourage new bloggers to hop on board the spring fling train too, so mark your calendars, dates and categories are below. I have a few fun spring DIY ideas to share as well, can’t wait!

  1. I just started following you and love your style and creative ideas. I have recently found 2 dressers on the side of the road that I want to paint. I’m planning on using your favorite Zinsser (sp?)oil based primer b /c you say it is the best but want to use latex for painting. I always heard that latex will chip off of oil. Is that not the case with this primer?

    • Hi Anne, the latex won’t chip off. If anything a cheap latex might peel, so invest in a higher quality latex paint and you’ll be fine.
