Hello hello and welcome to the Holiday Tablescape Link Party! I can’t wait to see how you all set your tables this season ~ let’s get started! HomeGoods is the sponsor of this contest and there are big prizes up for grabs! The grand prize winner will receive a $100 gift card to HomeGoods and the three runners up will each receive a $50 gift card to HomeGoods. Cha-ching!
All the talk about setting a pretty table got me in the mood too, so I set one for a monthly get together with my moms group with some seasonal paperwhites in silver cachepots and a little evergreen in the center too. Scattered across are some ornaments in shades of silver and blue ~ simple and sparkly.
I love the combination of silver, blue, and winter whites in holiday décor, it always feels so fresh. What about you? How did you set your table this year? Time to show me whatcha got! Fall and winter tablescapes count, from Thanksgiving through the end of the year (Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year’s, etc.) One entry per person.

I too like seeing silver used with blues,
it feels so chilly.
LoVe Home Goods and T.J. Maxx,
what a fabulous prize !
Question…. so many of these dining rooms are painted light colors so the bright, sparkly silvers and fun colors seem to also ‘go’ with the room. Is my table its own thing, or does it need to fit in with the wallpaper of my dining room which is quite dark? I just feel like some of these tables would look out of place in my dining room even though i love the tablescape itself. Thoughts?!
Hi Nikki, I’m unsure if you’re asking about design in general or the contest, but I truly believe your dining room should work for you and your family and reflect your personal style. As far as the contest goes, the room is not being judged, just the table setting itself on creativity and affordability. I hope you will join in with all the fun!

Kate
Wow what gorgeous tables! I need to get myself some table bling too. ~Pepper
Nikki, I get what you are saying but I think regardless of the wall color the design will be judged by its design, not the room. If that were the case, I would have put my tree and mantel in the picture for added drama.
Beautiful job on your table Kate. Everything appears to sparkle.
Thanks for hosting. Your table is lovely with the little evergreen and all of the sparkly silver. I am working on a Christmas table right now, but don’t have it photographed yet, so I had to use my Thanksgiving table, oh well.
HI Kate,
Thank you for hosting this fun party! I’ve looked at 10 or 15 tables so far and they are each and every one beautiful, including yours. I have some blue snowflake transferware plates that would fit in perfectly with your table! Don’t you love the paper-whites? They are so Christmas-ey to me!
Nancy

I know Heather, so so many beautiful tables, and the stories that go with them are so touching, I’m loving visiting them all! It will be so so difficult to even “judge” them, I’m just happy so many are sharing their creativity and their lives with the party!
