  5. I am loving each and every one of these. I really have to try that glitter tape and those dyed mason jars! I’m also a little bummed that I didn’t get the old pallet I saw at Goodwill yesterday after seeing that pallet wall art…Thanks for posting these!

  6. Thanks for all of the inspiration! I am completely hooked on your blog and have probably read every post over the last 3 days! I have a question about painting pine furniture. We have several pieces of heavy, rustic pine furniture w/ wrought iron details. ( I guess we were going through a Mexican/Southwestern Hacienda phase.) I’m wondering if you have any suggestions for updating these pieces? I was thinking I could whitewash them to give them that pickled, driftwood, aged look. We live in a beach house and I love the look of the gray toned furniture of Restoration Hardware. Should I paint them a gray color first before whitewashing since the wood is so yellow and knotty? Thank you in advance!
    Warmly,
    Dominique
