Greetings all, Amanda and I are back this afternoon with another round of inspiring links this week in our continuing ‘Best of the Blogosphere’ roundup, here you go!
The House of Fifty blog featured Tiffany’s 5 savvy tips for designing a room on a budget. Tiffany’s post offers practical ideas for planning a room to express your style.
Emily tells Sharon a thing or two about dropping $30,000 on a rug mostly unseen in her bedroom designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. We love the ‘fabulous for less’ design board she put together, way to go Emily!
Craft a PB inspired driftwood star with The Handmade Home, we love the texture and impact this adds to any space!
Make your next card or invitation even sweeter with a photo envelope liner, cleverly crafted by Paige of Paiges With Style (via Birthday Girl blog)
Always wanted a schoolhouse pendant like Melissa from 320 Sycamore? She made one of her own with (who would have thought) canning jar lids.
Oh spray paint, you wonderful thing. Loving this Sarah Richardson inspired IKEA hack on a simple frame by Aubrey & Lindsay (and a fantastic Audubon print too!)
Hand paint a bamboo rug in a whimsical floral motif with Brittany at Pretty Handy Girl, and while you’re there, take a peek at her screened porch!
Sandy has a new series called 30 Days of Summer Entertaining which covers all the basics of opening your home to guests this season. Stop by The Reluctant Entertainer to be encouraged in your efforts at practicing hospitality.
Layla and Kevin have the magic touch! Tour their latest transformation of a pretty porch for his parents at The Lettered Cottage.
Alex and Wendy prove that you don’t have to live on farm or have a big yard to grow a garden. See their step by step instructions for starting a square foot organic vegetable garden. We can’t wait to see what will be growing here soon!
If getting that perfect family portrait is on your to-do list, you’ll want to read Emilie’s advice on choosing portrait outfits (via Blue Cricket Design).
Marina’s lemon filled lavender cupcakes look almost too pretty to eat! You can download a printable recipe at Yummy Mummy.
Thank you Amanda once again for your picks, this is such a fun series for me, teaming up every week to find what’s new and creative out there in blog land.
