Hello! I finished up another crafty little project yesterday with my Silhouette ! This simple seasonal pillow was created with the use of vinyl cut with my Silhouette and fabric paint.
I created the letters with the Silhouette font tool, then cut them out with the cutter.
I used fabric paint to create the word ‘noel’ with soft green metallic paint. I use the Tulip and Scribbles Dimensional fabric paints found at Michaels (or other craft stores).
Then I stitched up a quick pillow cover with the linen fabric. Easy! You can use this same technique to create pillows with your child’s name, the date you were married, any sentimental word!
Have you entered the Silhouette giveaway? There’s still time until the end of today! I’m announcing the winner first thing tomorrow, but if you’re not the lucky winner, remember Silhouette is having their super Cyber Monday sale tomorrow only!
Enter the code CENTSATIONAL and you’ll get $100 off your purchase of a Silhouette craft cutter (tomorrow only), so tell your honey it’s only $199! That Silhouette is amazing. I can think of many Holiday crafts and sewing projects to use it. Thanks again for all the inspirational projects.
So super cute, I love how seasonal it is without be overtly bold. I may have to include something like this !
I love your Noel pillow, Kate. The metallic paint is a lovely touch. Simple and chic! It looks gorgeous in your chair.
I’m back to look at your Silhouette pillows- love the actual silhouette ones too! I’m going to feature these on my blog on Dec 26 with a link back to you:) Merry Christmas Kate!!
Thanks for sharing this one, Kate! I want to try something like this next Christmas. I have a JOY pillow my mom gave me…maybe I’ll add a PEACE. :)
