I love this! I’ve just started decorating my 12 room 3 bath home and have decided not to rush it but DIY it instead. I’ve just completed my livingroom, diningroom and a closet. I am totally inspired by your blog. I’ve also been to the local thrift store on a weekly basis and finding lots of treasures:)

What color are the walls? This room may be a little grown up for my little girl but she would love that color as a base. You did a fantastic job and I am sure your kids are thrilled to have you as their mom! Good job!

beautiful room. looks like something out of a luxury hotel suite or home decor magazine. *so* envious! and i love all the links to your diys (gonna go check out the tufted headboard tutorial b/c i’m thinking of making one myself instead of shelling out $400+ for one! eeps!).

Thanks for sharing the tip on how to upholster the tops of rush-seated chairs without ruining them. I have six beautiful rush-seated chairs that are not kind to the behind. I will be making them more comfortable with your technique shown here. Thanks again.
