Happy Weekend everybody ! I want to send out a big welcome to a new sponsor, The Shabby Chic Cottage, a shop filled with all sorts of home accessories that will add so much style to your home !
Hop on over to pick up a few lovelies for your nest! Don’t forget, Mother’s Day is May 9th, that’s only one month away, so you can find a mom you love something special at The Shabby Chic Cottage!
Also, here’s a few features around blogland. YayDIY posted my answers to Eleven Questions. The lovely Mrs. Limestone featured my favorite spot to curl up in her not-to-miss ‘favorite nook’ series. And my friend Amanda over at Serenity Now let me takeover her blog for a day with these ever so simple scrap and tissue paper butterflies. Also, Erin over at House of Turquoise was kind enough to feature on her blog our grown up girl’s room, how cool !
For some other great weekend roundup reading, visit Kimba’s Favorite Things at A Soft Place to Land and Julia’s Weekend House Fix over at Hooked on Houses, plus Becki’s Roundup of great links at Infarrantly Creative !
For those in Northern California who will be joining me for the April 25th Antique Fair, make sure you RSVP with an email so I can get a proper headcount !
Finally, for those of you still interested in a MirrorMate custom mirror makeover like mine . . .
. . . remember there are dozens of frames available, here are just a few !
And if you enter the discount code CENTS at checkout you receive 15% off !!!
Now, back to your weekend fun . . . . :-)
Enjoy !

I want to go to the Centsational Girl meetup!
Ooh! Thanks for the info on the custom mirror makeovers – they’re amazing and so easy to do! We might just have to take advantage of that discount for our large bathroom mirror =)
How long is your mirror discount code good for? I’m thinking of “dressing up” our bathroom. :)
I have got to head over to Gina’s blog and hit “Follow.” Not sure why I haven’t done that yet. I think I’m in love with her clothes pins!
I’d love to meet up at the Antique Fair…I’ve never actually been to one before. But, alas, I think the airfare would be a big deterrent. ;)
Thanks so much for linking to me, my friend. :) Have a wonderful Sunday.
Those clothes pins are a must :)
Wishing you a great weekend!
Kate, its so good to see your blog getting some much deserved attention and sponsors. I know you love doing the projects and blog but I can tell that you also put so much effort into making it professional and successful. Congrats to you!
Contacted Becky at MirrorMate because I wanted to know if they
could be painted to match existing trim. The Venetian White frame
is the only one that can be painted, she said. Just wanted you all
to know! Definitely ordering for both my daughter’s bathrooms.
I think I’m on your 4/25 list already, but go ahead and count me with the rest of your heads ;)

What lovely sponsors!
I soooooo wish I lived near you. I would die to go to the antique fair with you gals! Isn’t Petaluma near Arcata…that is where I was born and still have family! How cool.
P.s…….LOVED your grown up girl’s room. It is to.die.for fabulous. You have the golden touch, my friend!

Gotta love Gina!!! :)
Oh, I just love the starfish on beadboard blocks from Gina. She has such a wonderful style. Thanks for featuring her. I also love your framed mirror. It’s such an easy way to make a stock bathroom look custom and expensive. Great work, as always.
By the way, my finished guest bedroom post is up. Well, mostly finished, but it only needs minor tweaking…don’t they always?
