Hello friends, and happy happy Friday ! Today I am delighted to introduce you to a fresh new photographer named Sara Norris from Albuquerque, New Mexico. She’s been mentioned on several blogs, and now I have the opportunity to feature her work.

Beautiful photography. It’s so hard to choose! I went back and forth between so many. I think I’d choose one of the ranunculus since I am so ready for spring but I can’t promise I wouldn’t change my mind for one of the root series or the lake diptych.

Oh, what a hard decision, so many beautiful images! I would have to say my favorite would be the “Johnny Appleseed” photo. It reminds me of the crabapple tree we had in our yard and one beautiful Spring evening at dinner time a warm breeze came through and lifted the beautiful pink petals from the tree. A woman driving by in a car stopped on the road and her car was enveloped in a pink shower of scent and color as she sat there with her window wide open. We could see this from our dining room table, it was a breathtaking moment.

Wow, what a hard choice. I really like the ranuculas, and fall days, but I think I’d have to say the Roots series were my absolute favourite, so haunted and nostalgic.
I really love her work. I wish I knew how to do some of the techniques she does in her photos. My favorite is The Shore and The Root Series.
I have to say that Ranunculus is my favorite. I love the soft, pink, vintage thing but what makes it so nice is the other colors mixed in. It has the same soft warmth but isn’t ‘been there, done that’ totally pink either.
