A little something happened today that calls for a celebration. So glad we have a leftover bottle of champagne from last night’s birthday party, because I am just completely elated and overjoyed. What happened you might ask ?
On my Statcounter, this site just registered over two million pageviews. Two million ! In nine months ! Holy guacamole Batman ! My little ol’ brain is spinning just thinking about it. I am so very grateful to those of you who read about my adventures in DIY and decorating.

I found your blog about a month ago and have scoured through EVERYTHING on it!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your blog. I’ve always wanted to be a DIYer but was never brave enough to really start anything big. Now that I have your blog as a reference, it has been so freeing and enjoyable to do some big projects myself. I have been painting wood that I hated the look of, making different decor for holidays, making the spa towel, and soon my sister and I are going to be making the headboard for her bed. 2 million is awesome! I’m honored to be among them. You’ve inspired me to take a try at spray painting – now I just need to find the right piece of furntire (also, did you know you can get custom colors into a spray paint can? – I think Sherwin Williams will do it). The painter who did the trim at my house gave us two cans for touch ups (oil based).
