A little something happened today that calls for a celebration. So glad we have a leftover bottle of champagne from last night’s birthday party, because I am just completely elated and overjoyed. What happened you might ask ?
On my Statcounter, this site just registered over two million pageviews. Two million ! In nine months ! Holy guacamole Batman ! My little ol’ brain is spinning just thinking about it. I am so very grateful to those of you who read about my adventures in DIY and decorating.

I love reading your blog. Many of your projects are still a bit high priced for my very meager budget, but they still inspire me to look around and do with what I have. Paint that side table instead of buying a new one. Hang that shelf somewhere else. It’s inspiring to both do with what I have, and provides wonderful daydreams of what I could do if I won the lottery!

Wow….that’s great but you have some fabulous ideas so I’m not surprised! WOW!! 2 mill in 9 months !! Very impressive but not surprising to those of us that follow your every adventure. I follow several DIY blogs but yours is by far the best of the litter.
