A little something happened today that calls for a celebration. So glad we have a leftover bottle of champagne from last night’s birthday party, because I am just completely elated and overjoyed. What happened you might ask ?
On my Statcounter, this site just registered over two million pageviews. Two million ! In nine months ! Holy guacamole Batman ! My little ol’ brain is spinning just thinking about it. I am so very grateful to those of you who read about my adventures in DIY and decorating.

I love that your blog has *real* decorating advice. You live in a home with children and a budget. It is wonderful to see how your home can be beautiful, liveable, and inexpensive.
Love your thanksgiving bunting! I am thinking of making an advent calender with miniature pails. I have three children to provide treats for and buckets will hold more. I must confess that the children are 23, 18 and 14 and will literally howl if we don’t have one. Just a warning of the future.
