Material Girl Fabric GIVEAWAY
August 20, 2009
It’s Friday everyone! How about a chance to win some fabric for your next project? Are you a quilter? Need some fabric to make some pillows, window treatments or table linens? Want to recover some seat cushions? Have a big dream and just need some fabric to accomplish it? Enter this giveaway!
There’s a fabric store called Material Girl Fabric near my hometown where my friends Nicole and Kathleen spend their days filling their shop with bolts and bolts of the most charming fabrics. Now they are offering three lucky winners the chance for a $25 gift certificate plus free shipping to select a fabric of your choice.
When you click on over to their Material Girl online shop, you’ll see a few dozen fabrics, but take note: most of their merchandise is not online, it is in the store, and there are hundreds and hundreds of patterns available.
Material Girl Fabric.com features the following designers:
Here’s just a few of these designer’s patterns that I’m personally smitten with*.
From top left to right: Alexander Henry ‘Gazara’; Michael Miller ‘Large Curly Swirl Brown’; Kaffe Fassett GP100 Brown; Heather Bailey ‘Sway’; Robert Kaufman ‘Aiden’ linen; Amy Butler ‘Gray Primrose’.
*No guarantee these particular prints are in stock at MaterialGirlFabric.com.
Are you familiar with any of these designer’s fabrics? They are so fabulous ! Click on any of the designer’s links above, and you’ll see what I mean. Chances are, you’ll get lost for hours, and have someone wondering what you’ve done all day. I know, because it happened to me.
Material Girl Fabric is a great online resource for you especially if you’re looking for a particular pattern. They can provide you with a list of what fabrics are in stock, and fill your order with many of these designer’s choices. How exciting is that?
Giveaway Eligibility:
1) Visit their online shop for either everyday fabrics or new and specialty fabrics and tell us which one of the samples pictured online is your favorite. I especially like the Halloween patterns.
2) Now here’s the fun part. I want to get to know you, so you’ve got to answer a random question. Today’s random question is: What is your favorite kind of pie? And don’t say you don’t like pie, because then we can’t be friends.
That’s it. Fabric and pie. Easy peasy.
The three winners will be put in contact with shop owners Kathleen and Nicole to make their fabric choice from the hundreds of selections available. How fun will it be to go shopping for fabric?
Giveaway ends Sunday August 23rd at 8 p.m. PST. The three winners will be chosen by Random.org. One entry only, please.

***** Saturday a.m. note: Some readers are having trouble viewing the images from the link under #1 eligibility. If you do as well, then browse through some of the designer fabric links in the list above, and pick a favorite from there. Hopefully, it’s one of the fabrics in the Material Girl store.
Good luck !
