Now for the sneak peek. I mentioned earlier this week that I would be opening for a limited time a ‘Home for the Holidays’ Etsy shop. A couple of readers have requested a teaser look at some of the goods. I must tell you I’m seriously considering renaming the shop: Things I Want To Keep.
For the past several months, I’ve been poking around flea markets, antique fairs, and salvage yards in search of unique treasures. I’d like to give you a glimpse of what will be available come October. My goal is to make every selection available at very reasonable prices, and for under $50 dollars.
Pair of large antique Ball Mason Jars with lids (10 inches tall)
Silver plated Godinger jewelry box
Set of six amber crystals
Set of six antique keys
Pair of Wm. Rogers and Rogers Bros silver plate pie servers
Pair of ceramic Holly Canisters
Pair of unique brass door pulls
Silver plated chafing dish with glass insert
Oh, and there’s much much more! I’m having a lot of fun shopping for special things for you. If anyone is looking for something truly unique, be sure to let me know, and I’ll be on the lookout for you.

What a cool idea!
The Ball Mason jars are just stunning aren't they?
I managed to get about 1/2 dozen of them and have one filled to the brim with rootings of snips from my houseplants.
A small one sits looking great and the third on my kitchen windowsill has a votive sitting inside the upside down glass inner lid.
THESE ARE SUPER, and very, very prettty.
What great taste you have my dear!!! lol :}
Just my style. Can't wait….
Great finds. I'm sure they will be snapped up quickly . I have a big thing for boxes so the little silver jewelry box has my name written all over it.
Beautiful items! I so had that silver jewelry box when I was growing up. It even went to college with me. I wonder where it is now. Hmmm…
Well, the keys and jewelry box caught my eye. How will you let these things go? : )
I have that jewelry box! I keep my wedding jewelry in it and a few other keepsake pieces- my grandmother's cameo broach, a couple of tiny necklaces from when I was a little girl that I'm saving for my daughter to wear, etc.
I love those drawer pulls!!
Oh wow, I don't think you'll be able to keep the store stocked. I love the mason jars, the jewelry box, and the keys.
Those amber crystals would be PERECT in my living room – seriously!! I'm going to have an orange accent wall, soon, and i Need to spread the love, if you know what I mean (like add some orange accents to balance it out).
Ooo, how fun. I can't wait to see all the goodies you pick up for your shop. You have such great style, and I know each and every item will be fabulous!
Lovely finds, I'm sure the shop will be a stupendous hit.
I'd love to have mint julep cup if you happen upon one!

Love all your goodies and can't wait for the shop to open! I have about 2 dozen of the blue jars and I keep my ribbons and pretties for quilting in them and displayed.
