Berry Beautiful GIVEAWAY
June 4, 2009
Thanks to the folks over at CSN Stores, I was honored to choose an item from their line of products to giveaway on my site. So one of you will be the lucky recipient of this lovely white earthenware Lenox Berry Bowl, which retails on the CSN Stores site for $60. It includes the silver serving spoon !
One can never have enough white ceramic decor, right? This piece is designed to be used as a table worthy colander, but this bowl is actually quite versatile. You can use it all summer long to wash your freshest berries, and it will come in especially handy for your Fourth of July soiree. But you’ll never put it away. Why?
This autumn, you could use this bowl to display a festive pumpkin in your home, or on your Thanksgiving table. See ?
Then during the Christmas season, you might fill it with ornaments for your best holiday dinner party:
Better yet, before summer is out, you should line it with plastic, fill it with ice, and take it to the beach. Don’t forget the limes:
** special thanks to my brother Nate for his Photoshop skills **
Now that you’re convinced this will be a delightful addition to your home, you need to do two simple things to be eligible for this most splendid giveaway.
In a comment, you must:
1) Visit the platform beds link at CSN Stores and tell me which one of their platform beds you would use in your home. No obligation to buy friends, just visit the link.
2) In your comment, copy and paste yet another link to a fabulous DIY project. Bonus points if it’s yours.
That’s all folks.
Remember, I am amassing a collection of your original DIY projects in the Links Library on my website with a link to your site, so don’t hesitate to prop yourself up. If you’re not in the mood for self-promotion, you can still qualify by including a link to a DIY project that lately has inspired you. (No fair linking to one of mine, though I would be most flattered.)
Tell all your friends so they can get in on the giveaway. Eligibility ends at 8 p.m. PST on Sunday. The winner will be chosen at random by Random.org and announced on Monday morning.
Have a most relaxing weekend.

What a neat store and beautiful bowl! I'm drooling over the Charlotte low profile sleigh bed. We're losing our guest room furniture to make room for a kids room, and that bed would be great to turn the office into a guest room.
What a gorgeous bowl! I love the Copley Collection platform bed. I have a very similar nightstand to the one in the picture, so it would match perfectly.
I just posted, on my blog yesterday, a little DIY project I finished, no tutorial though. I still have three chairs to go, but the first recovered chair turned out pretty nice.
http://craftingwithcathair.blogspot.com/2009/06/wips-and-kitchen-projects.html
I would definitely have the Charlotte bed. Adorable! Love the style of it.

Definitely the Wilshire canopy bed. Love the beautiful berry bowl and serving spoon!

http://thediyshowoff.blogspot.com/2009/05/knock-knock-whos-there.html
Ok… I would use the Modus-Newport one. I like being able to see under my bed, it makes the room cleaner and clutter free to me. No, I do NOT have anything under my bed, no clothes, boxes nothing.
My DIY project… well, it would HAVE to be the chair that I just re-upholstered http://life-uncluttered.blogspot.com/2009/05/finished-chair.html. I'm really proud of the chair, I love the fabric and the nail heads I used. I just think it's great and the chair only cost me $16. awesome.
What a gorgeous bowl and spoon. It'd be beautiful anywhere on a tablescape! Throw in a handtowel and it could be a bread bowl.
I love the infinity bed with drawers- anything for more storage space!
Here is my next project- between your tutorial and the one here, I think I'm set! http://allthingsgd.blogspot.com/2008/08/diy-tufted-upholstered-headboard.html

The DIY project that has inspired me and I plan on doing is http://asoftplacetoland-kimba.blogspot.com/2009/06/kitchen-stool-makeover.html
Hi! I found your blog via some links to your beautiful cherry tree mural, and decided to stay awhile.
I do not have a fireplace. It's a sad state of affairs, because Santa must squeeze through the deadbolt lock. However, if I ever do procure a residence with a fireplace, I shall implement this DIY: http://rosylittlethings.typepad.com/posie_gets_cozy/2008/02/hearts-and-flow.html
If I were to choose a platform bed, I'd feel it necessary to choose the South Shore- Copley collection bed. This is because the bed is in pine, which is so last decade, but I still love the lightness and brightness of pine. Pout.
Love the bowl and South Shore-Copley, its something about the color and shape of the bed together.
My blog is still in the infant stages so not to many links to my own DIY (give a girl time). But I am planning bringing this http://chezlarsson.com/myblog/2009/06/etching-glass.html to something soon.
Fairly new reader, first time commenter.

I really liked the Hilldale–Tiburom Kona Platform bed. It reminds me of the DYI project Freckles Chick did in her blog. She took a Pier One piece of art and painted it and hung it as her headboard. Her blog is freckleschick.blogspot.com
Hi Kate.
What a fun give a way. I visited CSN and since we're fantasizing here, I thought I'd dream big. I would love the Wilshire Platform Canopy bed. Mind you, I say fantasizing because my bedroom is way too small for that bed. A little fantasizing never hurt though, right?!
Here is the link to my latest DIY. I'm super excited about it, so I hope you get a chance to come check it out.
http://boutellefamilyzoo.blogspot.com/2009/06/before-and-after-buffet-edition.html
